Dictionary investor in the securities market American Depository Receipts
Certificates issued by the U.S. depositary bank, representing shares of foreign issuers held by a bank. One ADR may represent part of the action, one or more shares of foreign companies of the issuer. ADR inherit all of the political and economic risks of the issuing country.

Basis point
One-hundredth of a percent. The smallest unit used in quoting yields. Each percentage yield is 100 basis points.

Book value
Total assets minus intangible assets and liabilities such as debt.

Ox
